3, 5 and 10 Mile Tailgate Run

WEAR YOUR PURPLE AND GOLD! I tried to get us to wind in and out of campus as much as possible.

3 Miles – follow the 5 Mile route down Dalrymple around the Parade Grounds and back.  https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/2277324811/

5 Mile – easy/steady run for the first 3 miles. Water stop should be right around 3 Mile mark. Run the last 2 Miles as a cutdown  – meaning each of them faster than you were running your first 3. We want to practice good habits of starting steady but being strong enough to pick it up at the end.

10 Mile – easy/steady run for the first 4 miles with at 6 Mile cutdown. Water stop should be just before 5 miles, though. So you get a bit of a break. Run the last 6 Miles as a cutdown –  meaning each of them faster than you were running your first 4. We want to practice good habits of starting steady but being strong enough to pick it up at the end.
