This is designed to be a course specific preparation quality workout through the hills.

 

5K TRAINEES CAN TAKE SATURDAY OFF IN PREPARATION FOR THEIR BIG RACE THE FOLLOWING DAY AT ST JOSEPH’S ACADEMY.

4 Miles with 1 x 2 Miles at Goal Half Marathon Pace- warm up a mile. Run the next 2 miles through the hills at goal pace.

8 Miles with 1 x 2 Miles at Goal Half Marathon Pace-warm up a mile. Run the next 2 miles through the hills at goal pace.

Back to City Park for short water/electrolyte break. Repeat with another 4 mile with 1 x 2 Mile.

Marathoners are starting to get the longer workouts – why don’t we try y’all getting 2 Miles in beginning at 7:00 a.m.? That way you can join the larger group for the workout beginning at 7:30. Tell me if it works out.
