Sharpening Quarters Workout at the Highland School Circle
Two weeks out. Time to begin the shorter, quicker workouts to keep your fitness up. I’s about trying to sharpen without tiring out your legs with long miles.
Longer 2 1/2 mile warm-up. After 10 hard miles in the Wilderness hills – you will appreciate the time to get things loose again.
Down Sunset to Playground, Leeward and back to Fat Boy start. Continue on the first 1 1/2 of Fat Boy course which brings you back to Highland Schooi.
The workout is on the circle. 6 x 1/4 cutdown with short recovery back to start after each.
End your run there or cool-down a mile or so.
