Tough and Tactical Fat Boy Workout

We often do workouts on the Fat Boy course to prepare for the race. We typically do our last quarter finishing at the 3 Mile mark – not the 3.1 Mile mark. And that last tenth can be tough coming off the hill.

Warm up the first 2 Miles of Fat Boy. When you get back to the 2 Mile mark – run the last 1.1 mile as if you were finishing the 5K race. Make note of what you run the mile in but finish the last .1 strong.

THEN – go back to the beginning of the last 1/4 and run it but finish all the way to the actual finish line. So you are actually running 616 yards, if you care about precision.

Repeat that for a total of 3 times.

Cool down if you need to.
