Cut Down 220’s at Highland School Circle
It’s actually taper/sharpen week for a few of our runners heading to Seattle to run a marathon this weekend. So Mileage Monday…unless some of you just want to run longer around University Acres and over in Woodstone.
So let’s join them in some 220’s to get those snappy legs back.
Warm up around the playground. 8 x 220 Cut Down. Finish the circle for recovery.
Cut Down means each 220 should be faster than the one before. This workout teaches pacing, building into a run and a strong finish. As I say – if you run too fast in the early 220’s just “own it”. That means try ot continue from your misjudgement. You would have to do that in a race.
