First Day of Fall Training

This is the first day of Fall Training for 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon. We are offering a 5:00 option today in case we need to spread runners out. We may not need this time slot but will use Thursday to determine that.

Info meeting will be very brief. Plan on running.

You will have options of workouts and distances to choose from. Someone will always be there to help you understand where to go and what to do.

For the regular, continuing runners this will be a bit of step backwards to start building our program. But just be patient with the process.

2.25 Miles – easy run to Lake Erie. Run 1 x 220 to begin to get the feel for what interval work is. It’s NOT speedwork. It’s beginning to start to get faster and closer to an improved goal race pace later in the season.

4.5 Miles – warm up to Lake Erie. 8 x 220 interval work.It’s NOT speedwork. It’s beginning to start to get faster and closer to an improved goal race pace later in the season.Cool down same way you came.

5 Miles – warm up to Lake Erie. 8 x 220 interval work.It’s NOT speedwork. It’s beginning to start to get faster and closer to an improved goal race pace later in the season.

Cool down heading toward May St. and alt the way up Dalrymple around the top of the tennis courts and in.
