Experienced Half Marathon Saturday Schedule 2020

2020 EXPERIENCED HALF MARATHON SATURDAY SCHEDULE  

September 12 – 8 miles with 2 x 1 Mile at goal half marathon pace

Sept. 19- 10 miles with tempo work

Sept. 26- 10 miles with 2 x 3 miles at marathon pace(not half pace)

October 3 – 10 miles with last 6 as a “cutdown”

Oct 10 – 12 Miles steady/easy or RACE NORTHSHORE 10K ON 10/11

 Oct. 17 – 8-10 Miles easy

Oct. 24 – 13 Miles with tempo/pickup Miles 8-12 with last mile easy.

Oct. 31- 8  miles  with 2 x 2 Miles through BR Beach hills

November 7 –10 Miles with “Stuff” – Variable pacing workout

Nov. 14-  10 Miles steady

Nov. 21 – 12 Miles with SJA 10K at a strength run

Nov. 28 – 10 miles including long ladder workout

December 5  – 15 miles including BR Beach Run Through 13.1 miles

Dec. 12 –  10 miles with Yasso 880 workout

Dec. 19– Long easy 14 Miles with focus on EASY. Time on your feet burning glycogen is what we are looking for.

Dec 26– 12 Miles steady with 3 miles at goal pace from 9-12.

Jan. 2– 10 miles on  Wilderness 10 mile course in Star Hill, LA

Jan. 9- 6-8 miles

Jan 17 – Louisiana Half Marathon
